Indoor cycling, which goes back almost 30 years, is now firmly established as one of the fitness programmes that most revolutionized the indoor fitness sector. Even so, during its early years fitness centre owners doubted whether it made sense to devote a whole room to this form of exercise for just a few hours of occupancy every day. Today, nobody questions its profitability.
Indoorwalking is now following the same trend. Hundreds of centres have already set aside a dedicated space for this group cardio exercise based on high inertia vertical equilibrium, which has proved hugely popular time after time in every centre.
Many new sports facilities are including an indoorwalking room in their initial design, or at least a group cardio workout room that allows both indoor cycling and indoorwalking classes to be held alternately.
